Could Red Meat be the New Superfood?

For years the American Health Education System has argued for a balanced diet: plenty of fruits and vegetables, fibre, vitamins and minerals with limited carbohydrates and meats. However, Mikhaila Peterson has recently challenged America’s current health standards by presenting her own experience alongside the experience of many others, which suggests that eliminating grains, vegetables, and dairy products and eating only meat can help cure autoimmune disorders and even improve the health of those who do not notice any issues with their bodies.

Although Peterson’s diet is controversial, people have increasingly submitted their own testimonials confirming the efficacy of going carnivore, both with curing autoimmune diseases and improving health in general. At the Boulder Carnivore Conference, Mikhaila closed with this powerful statement:

“You’re told that autoimmune disorders are for life, right? Well, they’re not.”

Could Peterson’s diet be the cure for the seemingly incurable? The evidence increasingly points towards yes, but only time will truly tell.
