What if all you needed to know is Within?

There is not one day that I am not listening to a podcast, Audiobook, or looking into the newest self help book or Blog.

All to Hack the “Big IDEA” that will Change My Life!

Making me the person that I want to be but, procastinate to be.

Feeling that the Holy Grail is somewhere out there and that I need to read it or listen to it.

But What If I really failed to listen, to what is happening within.

All this time spent searching “The Magic Idea” is wasted in not connecting to my authentic self.

Am I really telling myself, well you are not good enough? You need help? You need somebody’s idea?

In the book “The Power of Now”, the author Eckhart Toll start by telling a beautiful story that stayed with me.

A beggar was sitting on a box begging in a street. A stranger came to him and instead of giving him money ask him a question. What is inside the box you are sitting on? I don’t know. I am sitting on this box for 20 years begging. The Beggar replied. Then the stranger ask the beggar to open the box. The beggar did as he was told, opened the box and found a treasure inside it.

We are all sitting on a treasure that is within.

We are so programmed to believe that we need something out there to be strong, courageous, creative that we fail to connect to the power within.

Disconnecting from our constant noise, distractions, thoughts by listening to our breath and observing the person we are. Is the opening of the box.

Connecting to our uniqueness, our talents and abilities. Is our treasure.

Maybe wondering where they come from and what they are needed for? Is our challenge. Why would you need a treasure for anyway?

What make us different is what makes us unique. It is our Gift to the world.

It is our note of music in the symphony that is life. Without that note the music will not sound divine.
