Now Is Time To Decide How You Want To Live

Suddenly my occupations have changed, I find myself attending to my children with their activities, following the news from the sofa and trying to keep track of how my friends and family are.

For now, I would say that I am fine: I am alive and I am at home.

But my motivation goes down day by day: my desire to work has diminished, I procrastinate my tasks and my inner voice begins to boycott any idea that could be merely good.

Until last night when, after turning off the television news, sitting on the edge of the sofa and staring blankly, I wondered:

It took me few seconds to realize that I imagine myself as a Doctor, I would probably be giving everything on the battlefield today.

I imagined that sooner or later I would be infected with the virus; I would sleep in isolation without any contact with my family, and in the worst case I would die without being able to say goodbye to my loved ones.

Suddenly, the Health Professionals became my new heroes.

And the answer comes from within, but in the form of a question:

Today you have two options:

Maybe you had been working in a company for 30 years and today you have lost your job, or you only had a few weeks and today you have been unemployed. Regardless of what your profession is or what you have been doing … you can always be yourself at the service of others.
