What Alcohol Cravings Feel Like

Flashback

Revisiting old posts: Day 1 of 4.

I normally publish a short blog post in Exploring Sobriety each day, but for the rest of this week I’m going to be out of town on vacation. In fact, I’m writing and scheduling this post ahead of time, so by the time it actually publishes I should be out hiking a mountain.

I was initially going to write and schedule four full posts for while I was out of town, but to be honest I don’t have the time or energy for that. I also didn’t want to rush it and end up wasting your time as readers with low-quality or low-effort writing.

Instead, I’m going to use the next few days to highlight a few of my favorite older posts from this blog. They are some of the posts that I’m most proud of, and they are all from 2019 and 2020, so if you’re a newer reader, you’ve probably never seen them.

The first is “What Do Alcohol Cravings Feel Like?” I try to explain as plainly as I can what it felt like when I got cravings, and why they are so hard to resist.

I hope you enjoy it, and please check back for three more “flashbacks” over the next few days!
