When It Was the Last Time You Notice Your Own Breath?

Try it, then

I’ve been always trying to be that kind of person who is very connected with the health of the body and the mind, but I haven’t always managed to achieve this goal in the most perfect way.

Like, probably, everyone.

When I was young, at university, I had an awful style of life. The architecture course required me a lot of physical and mental effort AND more than that, A LOT OF time. All this combined with mine — cultivated since childhood — lack of routine was the ideal recipe for a disaster.

When I was in my twenties, I had a serious back problem, joint pain, fluid retention, I was gaining weight progressively, I suffered from a lot of hair loss, among many other symptoms arising from a careless and reckless lifestyle.

The physical symptoms that I developed, were nothing more than my organism claiming for help and the worst of all was that my mind didn’t even seem to listen because apparently, it was already very concerned with its own problems.

That is, in the case, a whirlwind of thoughts that overlapped each other at the speed of light, generating a feeling of emptiness in the chest and endless anguish. All of this motivated by an anxious and perfectionist personality, needing control over everything, for which any slight error was unforgivable. I started to feel that I needed to do something because I was simply exhausted from everything.

I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was done.

That’s when then, I started to become more preoccupied in this matter. I don’t know if it has something to do with maturity, but probably.

The main fact is: I truly decided that I needed to take effective measures to change, at least a little bit, what I was doing with my whole life.

And I say a little bit because the messy was SO huge, that if I didn’t have started with baby steps, probably I would never be able to do anything.
